Learn how to cook traditional Czech meals in a fun & interactive way in the largest cooking school in the Czech republic. Every class is held by one the Chefparade chefs, who will lead you through the whole food preparation.

Market tour
with Chefparade

Participate in a market tour, guided by our chef and take in the atmosphere of shopping for fresh local products, find out interesting facts about Czech cuisine and stop for several tastings.

How it works

Before each cooking class you will select your 3-course menu and we will provide all the necessary ingredients.
Cooking classes are held in the morning and end with lunch.

Meeting at Chefparade

You’ll easily find us in Pražský tržnice at Holešovice. If you go by tram, it’s just one stop from subway station Vltavská on red line C. You can also come by car. The entrace for cars is from the Jatecní street.

Market tour with tastings

You’ll explore the Prague market hall, guided by our chef and breathe in the atmosphere of shopping for fresh local products. There´s nothing better than cooking from fresh/local/great ingrediences.

Cooking a 3-course meal in fun & interactive way

This is it! Finally, you’ll hands-on experience the joy of cooking great food with our chef mentoring you. You can try goulash, apple strudel or Carlsbad dumplings and everything will taste great – because you’ll make it!

What we will cook

Menu selection

Your three-course menu will be selected from our traditional menu. You prepare typical Czech dishes discussed in advance. Menu can be altered based on your requirements and preference of cuisine.

SOUPS

Bramboračka – Traditional potato soup with mushrooms
Česnečka – Garlic soup with croutons
Zelňačka – Cabbage soup
Kulajda – Creamy soup with mushrooms, potatoes, dill and sour cream

MAIN COURSE

Bramboráky – Potato pancakes with smoked meat/cabbage
Kuře na paprice – Paprika chicken in creamy sauce
Guláš – Goulash with Carlsbad dumplings
Vepřo-knedlo-zelo – Roast pork with cabbage and dumplings

SWEETS

Ovocné knedlíky – Fruit dumplings with cottage cheese
Jablečný závin – Apple strudel
Palačinky – Sweet pancakes with fruits, cottage cheese or jam

Are you always up for a little more? Then you certainly wouldn’t mind tasting some Moravian wine or taking home a stylish culinary memento. Market tour

The market tour is an optional activity in addition to the actual class. The price will depend on the number of people taking the tour and will be added to the price of the cooking class.

7 – 8 persons – 6 Eur / person
