Chefparade Cooking School is a contemporary cosmopolitan cooking studio where you can master the basics of traditional Czech cuisine. What is it about?
It´s about your choice - do you choose the hands-on cooking course or Live cooking show?
COOKING LESSON will introduce you to the typical Czech cuisine with you in the main role! Our hands-on courses give you the opportunity to cook side-by-side with our Chefs. Learn about the basic ingredients and spices along with best cooking practices so you’ll be able to treat your family and friends to a fantastic Czech dinner in your home country.
LIVE COOKING SHOW! Would you like to taste the Czech traditional dishes, but prefer to leave the cooking to a professional? Let our chef show you his know–how during Live cooking show and you will taste the outcome. Of course, you are welcome to help our chef while he is showing and explaining you all the important advices and work step by step.
If you wish, we can visit the Prague Market, where you get the information about the Czech traditions and cuisine. Your chef will show you the main ingredients, fruits, vegetables and spices and we will buy some of the ingredients for the menu we will prepare.
How does it work?
The courses run in the late morning hours finishing with a lunch. Time of the course can be adjusted by prior agreement and lessons can be held also in the afternoon or time you prefer.

What do we cook?
Suggested Czech Menu:
- Traditional garlic soup or “Bramboračka“ (potato soup)
- Beef Goulash with homemade dumplings or Potato pancakes “Bramboráky“ with smoked meat
- Fruit dumplings
Menu can be altered based on your requirements.
How much is it?
- 89 € for one person (2300 CZK)
- 129 € for two persons (3300 CZK)
- 69 € for every person from a group of three and more people (1700 CZK)
- 19 € for Market Visit (470 CZK)
Prices include: cooking ingredients, refreshments (2 soft drinks), recipes that you can take with you after the course, chef´s assistance, kitchenware and utensils, cleaning, use of aprons and of course lunch (what you cooked). All you need to take with you is your good mood!

Q: Is the course hands-on?
A: Yes. Our courses are ‘completely hands-on’. You will prepare all the dishes yourself. We have many cooking stations and ovens.
Q: What is the length of the course?
A: One course is completed in 3 - 3, 5 hrs, depending on your skills and dishes you make.
Q: Can we choose the dishes we like?
A: Yes, you can choose from our suggested menu, or you can ask for your own dishes you have always wanted to learn.
Q: Is there a course for vegetarian?
A: Yes, of course. Recipes are very versatile; they can be adapted and therefore, prepared to accommodate vegetarian and non-meat eaters, too.
Q: Do we have to bring anything to the class?
A: Not at all. All you need to take with you is good mood! An enjoyable “hands-on” cooking experience awaits you at Chefparade.
Q: Is there a course every day?
A: Yes, we can hold courses every day, but it is necessary to make an appointment via inquiry form, e-mail (ivona@chefparade.cz) or a phone (+420-734-814743).
Q: What is the Live cooking show?
A: During the cooking show you watch and listen to our Chef, who prepares Czech dishes of your choice and afterwards you eat the outcome. Of course, you can assist and help anytime you want.
